The
wearing of school uniform is positively encouraged.

Boys wear grey or black trousers, yellow
poloshirts and the school sweatshirt
Ø
Girls wear grey or navy skirts, yellow poloshirts and the school sweatshirt
Ø
Sports or branded named clothes are not
part of the uniform
Ø
School uniform includes the wearing of
sensible shoes
Ø
The children are required to wear a plain
t-shirt and shorts for PE. They also need a change of indoor shoes.
Pupils should not wear football tops or shorts to PE lessons
Ø
The wearing of jewellery should be kept
to a minimum and should be easily removed for PE
Ø
The wearing of make-up and nail varnish
is strongly discouraged
Ø
On occasion, the children are taken to
the playing fields for PE – prior notice will be given to the children on
these occasions and they should bring suitable outdoor PE kit
Ø
An old shirt or apron is useful during
art lessons to protect clothing
Ø
Please make sure that children’s clothes
are named
Ø
Except in times of good weather children
should have a coat with them to wear at break times
Ø
